I was back on the farm, it was a sunny day
I was sitting on the back porch, strumming away
A memory so clear, like it happened today
My dad came out, began to play

It's a dream I have, now and then
Me and my dad playing songs again
But when wake, I know
I've been fooled again

We'd play a while, then talk a bit
"How's the weather, the wife and kids"
Just another laid-back summers day

But in that time, I'm home again
