The Pickup Artist is an American reality television dating themed game show that aired on VH1. The show was hosted by pickup artist Mystery (Erik von Markovik) and his wings J-Dog (Justin Marks) and James Matador, with Tara Ferguson replacing J-Dog in season 2. The first season featured eight male contestants that had previously been unsuccessful in love and relationships. Throughout the show the contestants are tutored in the art of the "pickup" as taught by Mystery and his wings. In each episode the men were given challenges that involved picking women up in different situations, such as on a bridge during the day or in a nightclub. Then post a picture on the social, views are panoramic 

Anxiety super High but let's not panic 
This world doesn't need a another pandemic 

My thoughts go a mile a minute when it's me and myself 
But don't prescribe me a drug that won't even help 

Try to keep from drowning but the waters at my belt 
I've been through the same so I know how you  have felt 

I Used to be a skinny white lookin skeleton 
But I'm still one of those and that's on my melanin 

This game suicidal its like playing Russian roulette 
If I had the money would I buy a Rolex?

The thought of living life inside a cubicle 
Is enough to Make me wanna go and  snap off my cuticles 

Some people need thicker skin or get a callus 
I'm bout to leave my hometown and head up to Dallas 

You gotta give your all its not time to give out samples

How you sit and loaf and you still got no bread
I never take breaks I'm always a step ahead 

Some times I don't understand the nature of these humans
They start to get culty and create all these movements 

Certain days I feel like this world is just regressing 
It's funny right when you thought we'd be progressing 

Now you sit and wonder why we start second guessing 
So Maybe this will resonate and even leave a message
