They're trying to cheat, but you didn't freak when they charged us two-fifths?"

Two bucks on your ten is more than fair for the price
So don't be rude, that's how you're gonna be viewed

It's the same job no matter what's under the apron
And you can cut it with the pet names, the world won't end

Or if you're from the south, with 'honey' in your mouth, fact

It's always better to be on the right side of the serve

Cuz on top of low pay, you get treated like dirt
Why would you wanna work if everybody served is a jerk

So either be kind, or stay home and make your own damn pancakes

I was jaded by the wages for a server in the U.S.
Just pay your worker what they're worth, the truth is that it's foolish
Waiting should be a job where your money is set
But until that issue gets fixed, tip 20 percent
